Caterina Lichtenberg and Silke Lisko

Duo Galante interprets works from four centuries on soprano lutes, mandolas as well as on Romantic and Neapolitan mandolins. The tonal beauty and transparency of these instruments give the listener a very special sound experience.

The two musicians have known each other since their childhood and have formed a permanent duo since 1999. Silke Lisko concertizes in various chamber music settings, e.g. together with the guitarist Rupert Germann, and as a member of Quartetto Colori. The first CD of Duo Galante was published in summer 2002.
